The Price

The Price is a gripping thriller that traces Cora’s harrowing journey as she confronts life-threatening danger in a race to stop a madman from unleashing a deadly virus. As the threat escalates, she must also wrestle with a chilling possibility: that her own scientist father knew millions of lives were at risk—and chose silence over action.

For the cover, my goal was to evoke a sense of looming catastrophe through layered virology symbolism. The bold yellow palette nods to the universal biohazard warning, while the speckled gradient advancing toward the viewer suggests viral transmission through airborne droplets. An expressive female silhouette anchors the composition, and faint scales in the background allude to the story’s deeper themes of judgment, consequence, and moral reckoning.
